Event Wrap Up: Sydney Festival

To kick 2017 off we had our biggest ever Sydney festival at Randwick Racecourse.

Oh, Mother Nature is a funny old dame. What do you do when you have an outdoor festival, and it is the wettest week in Sydney since Noah built the ark? Bring the party inside, of course!

Over 1200 attended the Sydney event and stayed around all day to enjoy the fashion shows, live bands and heaps of other hands-on activities.

The flower crown DIY classes by Events Florist proved one of the most popular, with hundreds of brides queuing for the beautiful floral head crowns. People were also eager to test out a life drawing class (perfect for a Hen’s) with a glass of bubbles, and it was giggles all round. The gorgeous Gigi showed cake enthusiasts her tricks of the trade and Rainy Sunday floral design workshop had girls lining up to learn how to create their very own floral display (which is not only a lesson for life but perfect for all the pre-wedding events too).

We'll be back at Randwick next year, so keep an eye out for the details here

And check out the action from the day in this awesome video by Clark Imagery.
